Positions as Head Tutor at both Edinburgh School of Food & Wine and The Cookery School at Daylesford both solidified Steve’s reputation as one of the UK’s leading culinary educators. Steve is a proud member of Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance and has represented the UK at Terra Madre, the world’s largest food gathering.
Steve now runs Edinburgh Food Social, a social enterprise teaching young people and communities about local, seasonal food. Steve is most at home when teaching good folk about good food and, when not talking to suppliers and producers, can often be found gesticulating wildly in classrooms across Edinburgh as well as in The Good Food Hub, the home of Edinburgh Food Social’s Good Food Apprenticeship.
