Ruth is part of a team at WRAP working with local authorities in England and Northern Ireland to provide 1:2:1 support and develop resources and guides to help LAs across a range of areas; tackling contamination, implementing service changes, communication planning, modelling different collection scenarios with a goal of improving the quantity and quality of recycling collected and reducing waste arisings.
Ruth joined WRAP last year, prior to this she has over 25 years’ experience in local government, leading on environmental strategy and delivery of high quality and efficient frontline services.
