Paula Walsh is the leader of Arup’s Business in London. She is a structural engineer by background, with over 30 years’ experience working with local, national and international clients to maximise their buildings and portfolios for the benefit of the building users, operators and the wider community. Throughout her career, Paula has led the way in the planning and design of various schemes across a range of commercial, residential, station and mixed-use developments. She enjoys working with clients and architects to redefine expectations of quality living and working environments, pushing the boundaries on innovation, social value, sustainability, and inclusivity. Much of Paula’s work has focused on major developments in London, including 52 Lime Street, More London, the Ebury Bridge Estate regeneration in Victoria and the ongoing transformation of the Kings Cross area. Paula is passionate about building on London’s rich history and diversity, to help shape its next stage of development.
