Mel Allwood is the Sustainability Leader for Arup’s Buildings London group. Mel focuses on the delivery of design interventions that optimise the environmental performance of buildings in terms of embodied carbon, material consumption, construction waste and operational resource use. Mel is skilled in developing workable solutions across the project lifecycle and in engaging project team members to deliver these solutions effectively within budget and programme constraints.
