Katherine Adams is currently finishing a PhD looking at how to apply circular economy thinking in the built environment. She is also assisting BRE in research and consultancy in the circular economy. Prior to this she managed the Resource Efficiency work area and SmartWaste, a suite of web-based tools to measure and monitor waste. She specialises in waste management issues, with experience in both the construction and municipal sectors. She has worked on and managed many projects for the public sector and private clients for the provision of advice, consultancy and research in relation to construction and demolition waste.
