Dr Julia Baker is the Technical Director of Biodiversity at Wood Environmental. Julia has led a variety of Biodiversity Net Gain developments including highways, railways, power transmission and housing, from large to small-scale in both urban and rural locations. Julia is the lead author of the UK’s Good Practice Principles for Biodiversity Net Gain and runs professional training courses on Biodiversity Net Gain and metrics. She is also a Visiting Researcher at Oxford University and Chair of the British Standards Group on Biodiversity.
